Tasmanian Residential Rental Property Owners Association (TRPPO) provides a range of services to owners of residential rental properties in Tasmania. Our core aim is to ensure that rental property owners are appropriately represented, adequately consulted, and treated fairly.

WHAT WE DO
We help our members by:

acting as a representative body for Tasmanian rental property owners, including liaison with Government bodies in relation to relevant legislation and programs

providing opinion and advice on residential tenancy matters and interpretation and the application of relevant legislation, regulations, and program eligibility criteria

undertaking research relevant to residential tenancy and residential property investment and sharing finding with members and using this information to inform its views

providing information sharing opportunities to its members, including through the facilitation of information sessions on relevant topics and

providing an opportunity for property owners to network, share their experiences and seek and provide support.

We represent everyday people. Our members are hardworking people who are trying to ensure a better future for themselves and their families. They value financial independence and want freedom from needing to rely on government financial assistance, leaving a bigger pool for those who need it most.
HARDWORKING
Our members come from all walks of life. We have tradies, aged care workers, nurses, employment consultants, disability workers, marketing and communications officers, police officers, HR consultants, pathology workers, single stay at home mums, admin assistants, full-time students, self-funded retiree, small business owners and many more in our group. These people work hard, contribute to our community and also happen to own rental property.
